JOSA' President Celebrates 68th BIrthday

The President of J. Oberas Scholastic Academy, Mrs. Jocelyn G. Oberas was tendered a surprise party by no less than Atty. Nelson C. Oberas,, the love of her life. And the venue he chose for her wife's 68th  birthday was the Guimaras Mountain Resort a resort  which is fast getting popular in the Western Visayas. Of course, there's an explanation for this,as you know they have a resort in Agsanayan, Buenavista and some of family and friends have never seen the BALAY TISA, that's the name. The night before Joy's birthday a dinner of seafood delights was held at their resort, followed by a breakfast party of native tops on the morning of her birthday. Then the party proper was at the  Guimaras Mountain Resort owned by the very hospitable Kwes'
The family of Mrs. Oberas headed by her mom Dona Cena Gimeno and businessman brother Allen Gimeno headed the Tapaz delegation. The friends and classmates of  Atty. Nelson  came in troops with Connie Gan, Charrie Lui, and many others. We really did sing to the top of our voice and up to the mountain's highest peak. Happy Birthday Jocelyn Oberas!

AN ILONGGA TEACHER IN SHANGHAI

Shanghai is the most populous city in the People's Republic of China. It also ranks number one as the most populous city proper in the world. And in the midst of  them is a simple maiden from Iloilo City who was accepted as an English teacher  ten years after submitting her application.
Ms. Jennifer Launio  Prudente is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology, who like other teachers  aims for economic advancement in life. Her bit in China as an English teacher proved to be very educational, as she discovered the many interesting facts in Shanghai.
Fruits are abundant like grapes, apples, and pears, with some cents  you have a bundle of it. People are so polite and courteous, as opposite to what she had heard. They are so disciplined  that even at midnight , traffic lights are strictly  followed. especially the pedestrian crossings. Places are clean especially the roadsides. From their airport,
